
Dr Evelyn Yeung
Hailing from South Australia, Evelyn attended the University of Adelaide where she received both her bachelor degree in dental surgery and postgraduate training in the Doctorate of Clinical Dentistry (Paediatric Dentistry). She has worked in private and public practice gaining a wide breadth of experience and knowledge in Melbourne, and metropolitan and rural South Australia.
During her specialist paediatric dental training, Evelyn gained experience and developed interests in children with Autism Spectrum Disorders, children with special needs, behaviour management, laser soft tissue procedures, dental anomalies and management of dental trauma.
Evelyn was also involved in undergraduate anatomy tutoring, preclinical and clinical paediatric demonstrating, and lecturing. Evelyn is a former president of the Australian and New Zealand Society of Paediatric Dentistry (Victoria Branch). She was recently inducted as a Fellow of the International College of Dentists and Member of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons in the Specialist Dental Practice discipline of Paediatric Dentistry.
In 2019, Evelyn completed an intensive course to achieve certification as a handler to work with Mr Miso, our visiting therapy dog. They are working together to provide animal assisted intervention (AAI) therapy to aid children attending the practice.
In her spare time Evelyn enjoys spending time with her young family, pottering about her garden, training Mr Miso and experimenting in the kitchen.
